Do I need to know how to pose?

Not at all. Every session is fully guided. I direct posture, hands, chins, and expression in small, clear steps, and I keep adjusting until the frame is right. You are never left to figure it out on your own.

Where is the studio?

The studio is in Los Gatos, California. Outdoor sessions happen throughout San Jose, Saratoga, Campbell, and the wider South Bay, and I travel across the Bay Area for Legacy Sessions.

Question 3

What is the difference between a mini session and a full session?

Accepted Answer

Mini sessions are released seasonally on a limited number of dates, run twenty or forty minutes, and take place on one prepared backdrop. Full portrait and family sessions run year-round, are planned around your family, and can move between the studio and outdoor locations.

How often do mini session dates open?

A few times a year, by season. Dates are limited and typically reserved quickly. Send an inquiry to be told first when the next season opens.

How many people can be in a session?

Accepted Answer

Up to six people fit comfortably in a mini session. Larger groups and extended family are best served by The Family Session or a Legacy Session.

What should we wear?

Warm neutrals in soft, textured fabrics photograph beautifully in the studio. Coordinate tones rather than matching outfits, and skip large logos and busy patterns. A full styling guide arrives with your confirmation, and I am happy to review options with you beforehand.

How long until we see our images?

Mini session galleries arrive within one week. Full session galleries arrive within two weeks. Every delivered image is hand-edited.

Can we order prints and albums?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fine art prints on archival paper and linen-bound heirloom albums are available with any session, and your gallery includes a print release for personal printing.

What about babies, toddlers, and reluctant teenagers?

All welcome, all expected. The studio has room to move, time for feeding and snacks, and a pace that allows for restarts. Some of my favourite frames happen right after a small meltdown.

How do we reserve?

Mini sessions are reserved directly through the booking calendar when a season opens. Portrait and family sessions begin with an inquiry so we can plan the location, timing, and collection together.

How many weddings do you photograph each year?

Eight to ten. This is a portrait studio first, and that number is the most I can carry properly: a full planning conversation, an unhurried day, and careful editing for every couple. If your date is open, it is genuinely open.

Do you travel for weddings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Weddings happen throughout Los Gatos, San Jose, the South Bay, and the wider Bay Area, and I photograph elopements and destination weddings as well. Travel beyond the Bay Area is quoted individually with your collection.

Question 13

Is an engagement session included?

Accepted Answer

It is included in The Signature and The Heirloom collections, and can be added to The Intimate. If you book a standalone Couples & Engagement session first, that session is credited toward your wedding collection.
